Stay at home mums know they have chosen a hectic profession, right? But think about what happens when you hit mum burnout. I know because I have been there; it isn’t pretty! Staying on top of your game is one of the best ways you can take care of your family. As a mum, taking care of YOU is not always a top priority, (or even a priority at all), but it is an essential element in caring for your family.

Mum life is tough, and mum guilt is harsh. My blog exists to help you:

  • become a proactive mum and stop reacting to the chaos;
  • regain control of your day;
  • find time to do it all, (well most of it);
  • enjoy your children, now, during the teen years and beyond;
  • live in the now so you don’t miss the good stuff of parenting; and
  • find time for yourself – avoid losing yourself to your family.

How would you like to feel that you achieved during the day? How would you like strategies to build and strengthen your family relationships so you can survive the teen years intact? Parenting is forever. It gets messy but is so rewarding. Don’t miss the fun, enjoy the little things too.

No Limits Active Family exists to encourage stay at home mums and reenforce the critical work mums do to eternally bind our families together. Stay organised, identify your priorities, and grow and develop great family relationships.

Hyperactive boys threw me into a tailspin. Finding a balance between burning off excess energy and keeping the boys focused on quieter activities, like schoolwork and chores, has been a challenge.

Family time and traditions were created and learning to appreciate the here and now took time to develop, but so worth the effort.

I hope to help you too experience the benefits and enjoy the journey of creating your own lasting family bonds through sharing:

  • my thoughts and experience on balancing the more physical activities with quiet focused time;
  • how I taught my hyperactive boys foundational schoolwork with short, fast paced activities;
  • my experience with family time and family traditions allowing me to sail through relatively smooth waters during the teen years;
  • everyday expectations and strategies to strengthen family bonds.
